Linchpin Enterprise News

Overview

The integration between the Blueprint Creator and Linchpin Enterprise News allows you to capture metadata fields in the Blueprint Form. This ensures that those metadata fields are not overlooked and a smoother blog post creation workflow.

Enabling the integration

The Linchpin Enterprise News integration only works with Blog Post Blueprints so you have to assign the 'Blog post' content type to the blueprint.

Click on the 'Configure Page Blueprint Form' icon and enable the integration by clicking on the toggle in the 'Integrations' section.

As soon as the integration is enabled a new slide appears in the left sidebar. This slide can neither be moved nor edited.

Once enabled three new slides will be added to the Page Blueprint Form:

You can neither change the order of the slides nor disable individual slides that are automatically added by enabling the integration.

The values entered by users will automatically be applied in the metadata panel above the blog post where you can edit them.

Supported metadata fields

As of now the following metadata fields of the Linchpin Enterprise News app are supported:

  • Publication date (Slide 1)

  • Publication time (Slide 1)

  • Categories (Slide 2)

  • News teaser (Slide 3)

The Blueprint Creator only displays the metadata fields that are provided by the Linchpin Enterprise News app. For feature requests and feedback you can reach out to the Linchpin team.
